assemble and
paint the pieces by hand.
An adult then
fires them in the kiln. Children paint and glaze the items. They
are then fired again in the kiln or sprayed with
clear gloss sealer
to protect the paint from chipping.
All
proceeds go directly to the Artist who made them with
a portion
going to support KIVA.ORG
